Chains
Chain is a mechanical belt running over sprockets that can be used to transmit power or convey materials. Chains have the following four basic functions.
- Transmit power.
- Convey objects or materials.
- Convert rotary motion to linear motion, or linear motion to rotary motion.
- Synchronize or to time motion
Chain Links
